Cookie Policy

Taskora uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and nothing else. There are no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, so there is nothing to opt in to or out of.

1. The session cookie

Name: __Host-taskora_session (taskora_session in local development). Purpose: keeps you signed in after you log in. Content: a random 32-byte token; the server stores only its SHA-256 hash. Lifetime: 14 days, or until you sign out.

The cookie is marked HttpOnly (scripts cannot read it), Secure (sent only over HTTPS), SameSite=Lax (not sent with cross-site requests that could change data) and limited to this site. It is set only when you sign in or sign up; anonymous visitors receive no cookie at all.

2. Local storage

Your browser’s local storage is used for small interface preferences that never leave your device: that you dismissed the cookie notice, and, on some screens, interface choices such as a selected tab or theme until your account settings are loaded.

You can clear local storage at any time in your browser settings; Taskora will simply show the notice again.

3. No third-party cookies

Taskora does not load analytics, advertising, chat widgets, embedded videos or social media plugins, and serves its fonts and images from its own domain. No third party can set cookies through Taskora.

4. Why no consent banner

Strictly necessary cookies that provide a service you explicitly request, such as staying signed in, do not require consent under EU rules. We show a short notice so you know the cookie exists, not to ask for permission to track you.

5. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you can still browse public pages, but you will not be able to sign in.
