Marketing site on Next.js for Paycrest
Moved a slow WordPress marketing site to Next.js with a headless CMS and near-perfect Lighthouse scores. A case study by Mateo Fernández, Frontend Developer (React & TypeScript).
Challenge
Paycrest, a payments startup, had a marketing site on a heavily customised WordPress theme. Pages took four seconds to load, the team was afraid of updates, and every landing page needed a developer.
Solution
I rebuilt the site in Next.js with static generation and a headless CMS. Marketers compose pages from 24 approved sections, preview them before publishing, and every page ships with correct meta tags and structured data.
