Mixing and mastering for Longform Weekly
Mix and master of a five-track EP for streaming and vinyl. A case study by Nikolai Georgiev, Composer & Music Producer.
Challenge
Longform Weekly, an independent magazine, recorded an EP at home and needed it to sound competitive next to professional releases.
Solution
I mixed the five tracks with careful attention to vocals and low end, then mastered separately for streaming loudness and for vinyl.
