Settings and permissions redesign for Atlas Advisory
Made complex admin settings, roles and billing understandable for workspace owners. A case study by Priya Raman, Senior Product Designer (SaaS & Fintech).
Challenge
Admins at customers of Atlas Advisory, an M&A advisory boutique, opened support tickets for basic tasks like adding a user with limited access. Settings had grown into a maze of 70 toggles.
Solution
I reorganised settings around admin tasks, introduced role templates with plain-language descriptions, added a permission preview and redesigned billing to show exactly what each change costs.
