Senior Go engineer for a payment reconciliation service

Our finance operations team reconciles payouts against bank statements with a lot of manual work. We are building a reconciliation service in Go and want an experienced engineer to design it with us and build the first version.
Responsibilities:
• Design the ledger and matching model together with our staff engineer
• Build ingestion for processor events and daily bank statement files
• Implement deterministic and fuzzy matching with an exceptions queue
• Make everything idempotent, observable and easy to replay
Requirements:
• 5+ years of backend engineering, at least 2 with Go in production
• You have worked on payments, ledgers or other systems where every cent matters
• Strong PostgreSQL skills; Kafka experience is a plus
• Written communication that makes design trade-offs easy to discuss
Around 20 hours per week for 3–4 months, with a chance to extend.
