Privacy Policy
Taskora is a demo freelance marketplace built and operated by AdScaled. This policy explains which personal data the service processes, why, and what control you have over it. We keep it short because we collect little: there is no advertising, no tracking and no data sale. Questions go to contact@adscaled.media.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal data processed through Taskora (freelance.adscaled.media) is AdScaled, reachable at contact@adscaled.media. AdScaled operates Taskora as a demonstration product that shows how a complete freelance marketplace works.
Profiles, companies, jobs, proposals, contracts, messages, reviews and transactions that are pre-loaded in the service are fictional demo data. Any resemblance to real people or businesses is coincidental.
2. Data we process
Account data: your name, email address, a password stored only as a salted scrypt hash (we never store or see the password itself), your role (client or freelancer), handle, country, city, timezone and optional avatar.
Profile and marketplace data you choose to enter: freelancer or client profile details, skills, rates, portfolio items, job posts, proposals, contracts, milestones, messages, reviews, saved items, reports and settings.
Uploaded files: images, PDFs, ZIP archives and text files you attach to your profile, jobs, proposals or messages, together with their name, type and size.
Technical data: a session record (a SHA-256 hash of your session token, its creation and expiry time) and simple activity counters such as profile views and search appearances, which are aggregated per day and not linked to individual visitors.
Your IP address is processed briefly in memory to apply rate limits and protect against abuse. It is not written to the database and is not used to identify or profile you.
3. What we do not do
We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or third-party trackers. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so opening Taskora does not send requests to third-party content networks.
No payment provider is connected. Taskora never asks for or stores card numbers or bank credentials; payment methods shown in the demo are descriptive labels only.
4. Why we process data and on what basis
To provide the service you signed up for — your account, profile, jobs, proposals, contracts, messages and notifications (performance of a contract).
To keep the service secure and fair — sessions, rate limits, moderation of reported content and suspension of accounts that break the Terms (legitimate interest in a safe marketplace).
To answer your questions when you contact us (legitimate interest, or steps at your request before entering into a contract).
5. Contact form
The contact form checks your name, email address, topic and message and returns a reference number. The message itself is not stored in the Taskora database. If you need a written reply, email us directly at contact@adscaled.media.
6. Password resets
When you request a password reset, we create a one-time token that expires after one hour and store only its hash. This demo build has no email provider connected, so reset links are not delivered by email and are never logged or displayed. If you cannot access your account, contact us.
7. Who can see your data
Public profiles, portfolio items, open jobs, company pages and reviews are visible to visitors of Taskora. You control whether your freelancer profile is public, visible to members only or private, whether your earnings are shown and whether your online status is displayed.
Messages and attachments are visible only to the participants of the conversation. Contracts, milestones and transactions are visible to the two parties involved. Moderators with the admin role can access reported content and account data when this is necessary to investigate a report or dispute.
Our hosting provider (Railway) stores the database and uploaded files on our behalf as a processor. We do not share personal data with any other third party unless required by law.
8. Retention
Account and marketplace data is kept while your account exists. Sessions expire after 14 days or when you sign out; expired sessions are deleted. Daily activity counters are used only for the profile owner’s analytics charts.
Because Taskora is a demo, the database may be reset to its original demo data at any time, which permanently deletes accounts, content and files created by visitors. Please do not enter information you need to keep, and do not upload real confidential documents.
Shared demo accounts (for example client@demo.com) can be used by anyone. Anything you write while signed in to a demo account may be seen by other visitors.
9. Your rights
You can view and correct most of your data yourself in Settings. You also have the right to request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, including deleting your account, email contact@adscaled.media from the address linked to your account. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Taskora is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of children.
11. Changes
If we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the product.
