Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Taskora, a demo freelance marketplace operated by AdScaled. Taskora works like a real marketplace, but it is a demonstration: the pre-loaded people and businesses are fictional and no real money is ever moved. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Taskora lets clients post jobs and hire freelancers, and lets freelancers publish profiles, send proposals and work on contracts with milestones, messages and reviews. It is provided by AdScaled to demonstrate the product.
The service is provided free of charge and “as is”. We may change, suspend or reset it, including its data, at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it.
2. Demo data and simulated payments
Profiles, companies, jobs, reviews, statistics and transactions that come with the service are fictional demo data. They do not describe real people, businesses or offers.
No payment provider is connected. Funding milestones, escrow, releases, fees, refunds and withdrawals are simulated and marked as such. No card is charged and no money is paid out. Plans shown on the Pricing page cannot be purchased.
Nothing on Taskora is an offer of employment, a binding contract between users or financial advice. Do not rely on the demo to agree real work or payments.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity in your account.
Shared demo accounts are available to everyone. Their email, name and password cannot be changed, and content created in them is visible to other visitors. Do not enter personal or confidential information while using a demo account.
One person may hold one personal account. Accounts that impersonate others, are created automatically or are used to evade a suspension will be removed.
4. Acceptable use
Do not post or send content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, is discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit or deceptive; do not advertise prohibited goods or services; and do not ask other users for passwords, one-time codes or payment details.
Do not probe, overload or attack the service, bypass rate limits or access controls, scrape it at scale, or upload malware. Security research is welcome under the rules on our Security page.
Do not use Taskora to arrange work or payments outside the platform in order to avoid its protections.
5. Jobs, proposals and contracts
Clients are responsible for describing jobs accurately. Freelancers are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles and proposals. Accepting a proposal creates a contract record between the two users on Taskora with the agreed amount and milestones.
In this demo, contracts are records within the service. They illustrate how a production marketplace would document obligations; they do not create enforceable obligations between users.
Taskora applies a 10% service fee to released payments in its calculations. As all payments are simulated, no fee is ever charged.
6. Content and intellectual property
You keep the rights to content you upload. You grant AdScaled a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and process that content solely to operate Taskora. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups that are removed in the normal course.
In the marketplace model shown by Taskora, ownership of work delivered under a fixed-price milestone transfers to the client once that milestone is released, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
The Taskora name, interface and code belong to AdScaled. Demo photography is used under the licences of its providers.
7. Uploads
You may upload images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF), PDF, ZIP and plain-text files up to 10 MB each. Files are checked by their content, not just their name, and non-image files are always offered as downloads. Only upload files you have the right to share, and never upload confidential or personal documents to the demo.
8. Reviews, reports and moderation
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience on a completed contract. Anyone can report a profile, job, message or review. Moderators may hide reviews, close jobs, resolve disputes and suspend accounts that break these terms. Suspended users cannot sign in, message or receive payments.
Moderation decisions are made in good faith on the information available. You can ask for a review of a decision by contacting us.
9. Liability
Taskora is a free demonstration. To the extent permitted by law, AdScaled is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profit arising from its use, including the loss of content when demo data is reset. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using Taskora at any time and ask us to delete your account at contact@adscaled.media. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
